I
started making dolls at a very young age, and I have been making
them for 19 years.
I am the second youngest of seven children, and there was never a
lot of money, so we always made every thing that we could. My
father, I think I am allot like him, would say, "If I can see it, I
can make it!".
I came to the states in 1985, and I made dolls for my friends and
family. I never made a penny ~just happy faces. About 4.5 years ago,
I sold my first doll on eBay. They became so popular that I decided
to open my own website.
I have a wonderful husband that is the mastermind to all my doll
bodies, he creates all my small tools and wooden things I need. We
have a 8 year young son that makes me find my inner child.
My house is full of fabrics yarn and wool I dye my own plant dyed
wool and hand carded silks. I like the feel of natural things, its
almost like you can feel it breath. I work with cottons, and silk
wool, and the newest is organic cotton stuffing and cotton fabric
for my dolls, for children that cant have wool. I want people to ask
me questions, and I will help them with
their craft. |
